# Awell Score

Awell Score calculates validated clinical and patient-reported outcome measures. It is a separate
product with its own REST API, and it is CE-marked.

Unlike the [Orchestration API](/api-reference), Score is REST rather than GraphQL, and it runs
without Awell Orchestration. A care flow can still reach it through
[Add a calculation](/docs/design-care-flows/add-a-calculation).
