Awell Hosted Pages

A prebuilt app that lets patients and stakeholders complete their care flow activities, with no interface to build.

Hosted Pages is a prebuilt app where patients and other stakeholders interact with their pending care flow activities: filling in forms, reading messages, completing checklists.

Either send someone a link to it, or embed it in a site. It needs little or no code, which makes it the quickest way to get started with Awell.

Hosted Pages is the prebuilt checkout page, not the API

Adding payments to an application needs a page where the customer sees the amount and enters card details. Build that page on Stripe's API, or use Stripe's prebuilt checkout page.

Hosted Pages plays the same role, and its built-in and customizable features mean going live without building a UI.

  1. Hosted Pages links that Awell generates and sends to the integrating system at the right moment.
  2. A session created through the API, which returns a session URL.

Both are covered in Sessions and links. Either way, the next choice is embed or redirect.

Hosted Pages covers pending activities, not the patient record

Hosted Pages is not a patient app, and it is not a general-purpose portal. Its only job is letting patients and stakeholders complete pending activities in a care flow, so it is not a place to hold a patient's record or a messaging inbox.

A patient app is something the care organization builds, and Navi is how Awell activities go inside it.
