Care delivery

Deliver live care flows: find a patient and act on what needs doing in Awell Care, or work a whole population from a panel.

This section covers the daily work of delivering a published care flow in Awell Care and in Awell Panels.

Awell Care is where a designed care flow meets one patient: finding them, seeing what needs doing and by whom, acting on activities, and chasing what is still open.

Awell Panels is where a team works a whole population at once, from a live list of patients or tasks.

Start here

  1. How you work in Awell Care The views Awell Care provides, and which one suits which job.
  2. Create patients A care flow can only run for a patient, so this comes first.
  3. Start a care flow Enroll a patient in a published care flow.

Working with one patient

Working with a whole population

  • What Panels is — live lists of patients and tasks, built from what a care flow already collects.
  • Panels and views — which settings belong to a panel, and which to a view built on it.
  • Set the accent color in Panels — the one color behind the sort and filter button, the selected view tab and the background tint, for everyone in the project.

Changing a running care flow

Who this is for

The care team doing the work: coordinators, nurses, clinicians, operations staff.

Changing what a flow does is Design care flows. Doing all of this through the API instead is in the API reference.
