Import and export form questions
Bring questions in from the validated-questionnaire library or a JSON file, including a spreadsheet template that maps to the right format.
Questions don't have to be typed one at a time. Importing them from Awell's library or from a file is faster and less error-prone than rebuilding a questionnaire by hand.
Import from the library for a validated questionnaire
Awell's library holds validated questionnaires. They arrive with their matching score calculation, so importing one gives both the questions and a working score.
Use the library version rather than retyping the instrument, because a validated questionnaire is only valid if the wording is intact.
Import from JSON for a form built elsewhere
A form that already exists in another tool can be imported as JSON.
The JSON has to match Awell's format, so map a proprietary format to Awell's shape first.
Awell also publishes a Google Sheets template that maps to the correct import format. Write the questions in the spreadsheet, export it, then import the file. For a long questionnaire several people contribute to, that's usually faster than working in the builder.
